Tom & Julie Trebing

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” -Proverbs 22:6

We believe that children are precious gifts from the Lord. Our ambition is to partner with parents in raising up children with a solid foundation of faith in Jesus. As with every ministry at Calvary Chapel Cary, all of our Children’s Ministry activities – worship, crafts and curriculum – are based upon the truth and power of God’s Word. Our fervent prayer is that each child who attends CCC will come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and that they will develop a passion to share the Good News of the Gospel with others.

Parents of infants and toddlers can expect a warm, nurturing environment and loving, attentive caregivers. For older children through 5th grade, we offer a Christ-centered curriculum, an encouraging atmosphere, and dedicated volunteers. Children will experience learning about the Bible in a fun, creative environment with interactive lessons, worship and engaging activities.

Special Needs

We also have a class for children with special needs. If you would like to bring your child to the Special Blessings class, please contact the Children’s Ministry Director, Julie Trebing, prior to attending to ensure the needs of your child will be met.

Our Facility

Safety, security and sanitation are very important here at Calvary Chapel Cary. All volunteers are screened, undergo a background check, and receive ongoing training. Moreover, security personnel are always present in the Children Ministry facility.

The check-in system protects children and provides easy notification if parents are needed during service. If a parent is needed, their child’s check-in number is shown on the sanctuary screen.

The Children’s Ministry building also has a private room for nursing mothers, as well as a Family Viewing Room where families desiring to participate in service together may view the service on a monitor.

At CC Cary, we impact the lives of over 300 children each week with the Word of God and the love of Jesus! Why not be part of this wonderful and fulfilling ministry? There are a variety of opportunities to serve (teachers, out-of-classroom roles, even at-home activities); there is undoubtedly a place where the Lord can use you!
